Professional photographer willing to email some tips?

I'm fifteen and am currently aspiring to be a photographer, though I don't think I'll be able to make a career out of it... It's just something I enjoy doing. I have a regular point and shoot, which isn't extremely fancy, but it works for someone at my amateur level.
