Help with cruising please?

At that time of the year there aren't a lot of European cruises as the cruise lines have repositioned their vessels in warmer waters. I usually use VacationstoGo for searching. One trip that intrigues me but the dates aren't good for me is a Celebrity (Millenium?) cruise from Fort Lauderdale/Miami with stops in the Caribbean, then through the Panama Canal and south stopping in Equador, Peru, Chile and ending in Valparaiso (Santiago de Chile). Seems to me it was 15 days departing 12/3. The rate was very reasonable since it is considered a repositioning. If I were a 17 year old boy again, and even the young lady, a trip through the Panama Canal would be a cherished memory.
