Any1 will tell regarding MSc(Computer Science)?
You generally need a full series of calculus, statistics, discrete math, and linear algebra. You also need a full series of physics that uses this math. A masters program in Software Engineering will have much lower mathematics requirements, but higher English and communication skills. There's a lot fewer Software Engineering programs, however, and they usually require industry experience in software related positions. Most computer related degrees are highly competitive for admissions, because it's such a popular and high paying field of study, so the minimum GPA requirements are quite high for the prerequisite courses needed for acceptance into the major. That will depend on the specific college or university, of course. Acceptance into a computer science graduate program at a top tier university can be extremely difficult, even for students with a high GPA in their undergraduate degrees. Some programs reject more than 90% of qualified applicants.
